Dogs Seeking Placement

A considered path to the right relationship.

Armor K9 placements are approached individually. A dog is never presented as ordinary inventory; suitability depends on the dog, the household, and the responsibilities of life together.

Currently Seeking Placement

Meet Jimmy
and Chewy.

From time to time, Armor K9 has an exceptional dog whose next chapter has not yet been determined.

Some were originally selected for a particular client or assignment whose circumstances changed. Others showed qualities we believed were worth pursuing before the right owner had been identified. A dog evaluated for one type of work may also prove better suited to a different role, household, or way of life.

Each dog is presented according to who that individual dog is today—not simply what the dog was originally selected to become. Placement depends upon the right fit between the dog, the prospective owner, the household, and the life they will share.

Placement Begins with a Conversation

Interest is the beginning—
not a reservation.

A photograph or profile may create interest, but it cannot determine whether a dog and prospective owner belong together. Armor K9 considers the individual dog, the prospective owner, the household, the expected role, and the life they would share before recommending a placement.

If you are interested in Jimmy or Chewy, begin with the inquiry provided on that dog’s profile. If neither dog appears suited to your circumstances, select Ask About Placement Opportunities below to tell us about yourself and the type of opportunity you are seeking. Armor K9 does not maintain a formal waiting list or guarantee future placement, but we may retain your information should a potentially suitable opportunity arise.
